Michael W. Allison is the Founder/CEO and Chief Adversity Strategist for The Adversity Academy Program. He is also a Purple Heart Combat Veteran, TEDx Speaker, International Motivational Keynote Speaker, host of the Overcoming Adversity Podcast and Author of the book Overcoming Adversity – Getting Your Life Back on Track. As a visionary leader in business for over 20 years, Michael has helped companies focus on creating a vision for the future and inspired others to make it a reality. Setting clear goals, creating a sense of purpose, and motivating those around to take action in order to achieve the desired outcome has always been his top priority. He uses cutting-edge research in business, technology, science and psychology to teach how to be resilient in business and participate in your own rescue, so you can elevate your life and business.

After getting blown up during Operation Iraqi Freedom in 2004 by a car bomb in Al Fallujah, Iraq, suffering with PTSD & TBI, dealing with childhood trauma, two divorces, financial hardship and business setbacks, Michael learned how to break the bottle and shatter everything that was holding him back in life and business. Now his life’s mission is teaching others how to "Break the Bottle" in their lives and business, so they can be a top resilient visionary leader.

Success is the result of aligning your core identity with your life’s vision. With unwavering resilience and a commitment to personal growth, Michael pursued higher education, obtaining an MBA in Business and a BS in Information Security. As an entrepreneur, Michael has started multiple businesses and has been recognized for his achievements, including being awarded the INC 5000, Innovation & Excellence Award, Entrepreneur Franchise 500, the 2022 Distinguished Alumni Award from Indiana Wesleyan University. He has been featured in prominent media outlets like TEDx, ESPN, BET, CNN, NBC, WE Empower | Educate, and CBS, among others. Michael’s mission in life is to inspire, empower, and make a positive impact in people’s lives through his Adversity Academy Program, drawing on his personal experiences to consult, guide and mentor others in life and business.
