She said there's no more movie stars. She hates social media. And I, I, I liked Jennifer Aniston. This is nothing personal against her. I just found it. It was actually insightful for me because here's the deal. Social media has leveled the playing field for being known and movie starters don't really love it because you know, it used to be, they got to be rich and famous and all these things because.

They were on TV, they were on movies, and these are the only avenues for really personal brand building. You know? It was more exclusive. More exclusive. And now with social media, social media's been around for a long time, so this isn't new, but certain people are just now coming around to what the opportunity is, and that's for anyone to truly be quote unquote famous. I like to use the word known, actually trademarking the name, it pays to be known. So. It does, it pays to be known. It pays to be known.

And I think people haven't embraced this enough. And that's why I'm super pumped about the coaching that I'm about to launch. Nick and I just finished filming this. We're in the editing phase. It's gonna be launching in like two weeks. Personal brand, Engineering. It is engineering because there's a science, there's a method to the madness. And this went right in line with that because I think, you know, stars hate it because the playing field's even. And yeah, we can all be annoyed that.

this TikTok person or personality or the next is suddenly Insta-famous or whatever. But don't hate the player, hate the game. You know, so, or play the game. If you're trying to grow your personal brand and look, I got a lot of people, a lot of people that I follow, people that I trust that hate the word personal brand. I don't love it either. But here's what it is. That's people understand it when I say it. You got to amplify your knowledge, amplify your point of view.

You got to be, get it out there. And so, and yes, you need a point of view and not just you and standing in front of a BMW going, I'm cool. That shit isn't valuable, but everyone has a story to told and social media gives you the avenue to tell it. And I'm going to show you how to get known and get it out there. Pays to be known. It pays to be known. Speaking of being pays to be known, Elon Musk knows that game himself. Mr. Elon, Mr. Elon, he's been laying out the plans for Twitter.

pretty actively trying to get those advertisers not scared. He's, he did a webinar this week where he launched or announced they're going to be doing payment processing and he was one of the co-founders of PayPal. Actually. That's right. So, uh, and leaning into video. So he wants to take on all players in social media. He doesn't want to keep it just about the tweet. It's going to be all about the deets and it's going to be, I'm excited for leaning into video. Yeah.

I think it'd be cool. I want to see where Elon takes it. Like, I don't know, like, again, I don't agree with everything the guy says, but I do like the innovation that he tends to bring to everything. So. Yeah, that's right. He wants to go further and do the things that people aren't willing to take on. Yeah, exactly. And so I don't like people getting fired, but like if they truly had that much fluff.

So we got some social media news today. First and foremost, Instagram. I saw this. This seems like late to the game, but like finally rolling out new in app post scheduling. Finally. Yeah. It surprised you that wasn't on there. Yeah, I did. I think it's gonna be great for like reels and stuff. Like even though we use scheduling software for certain things, the reels scheduling is wonky. And so maybe in app will be a little better.

You know, maybe a little more high quality. Yeah. And just what happens with the app or some of the schedules off where it has, you can't like get the exact thumbnail you want when where exactly. So that's critical. You have to have the thumb. And you got to. It's like all these little things with getting it right. There's nothing worse. Man, I fucking hate it. When we'll post like something, it's like it's the best video ever. And then you get on your feet and your thumbnails like black.

Instagram's new post scheduling option will enable you to schedule posts, carousels, and reels directing the app up to 75 days in advance. So hey, get your Christmas reels done right now. You know, just go out there and get them done. Get them posted. Get them scheduled. Scheduled and take the rest of the month off. Ha ha ha. If it were only that easy. Ha.

I thought she was, didn't know what she was talking about. And according to Elon Musk, she didn't, which is Twitter's usage is an all time high as he continues to throw around ideas for the app and is constantly in the news cycle. And that makes sense to me.

So, yeah, it makes sense. He's out there like him, love him, hate him. So people are on Twitter. They want to see what they want to see, whether you think it's, you know, the train wreck gone bad, or you just want to see what's going to happen next. It's drawing attention to the app. And so people are on it. There may be lots of people dropping off cause they don't want to pay to be verified or whatever. But more than that $8. Yeah. But more people are on it wanting to see what happens. So every.

Article that gets written about him and the platform someone's going on Twitter to check it out that probably wasn't doing it six months ago Yeah, I wouldn't be surprised if he's not the number one topic in the world outside of social media I mean everybody's talking about him you you know it pays to be known And it pays to be in the news and so he's constantly staying in it and so we'll see where it goes He's got a lot of work to do. He's got to make it profitable He's got to do a lot of things, but I wouldn't bet against him. I'll just say that

So if you're pulling off your ads from Twitter and it makes sense, great. But I do think there's eyeballs there, there's opportunity there, potentially some value to be had here over the next few months with getting your target to see your message. So.

My kids are more still playing.

I thought I was going to be doing a keg stand on top of my Christmas tree. Miller Lite unveiled a Christmas tree keg stand as the newest addition to its holiday merchandise lineup. According to a press release, the stands are large enough to fit around a quarter barrel keg and are designed to make it look as if beer.
