Hey guys, what's up? Welcome to the latest edition of the Radcast. Here is the Radcast News. It's Friday, July 1st. Already July. July it is. Where is the year going? Welcome to our weekly marketing and advertising news edition. I'm Ryan Alford, your host joined by Miss.
00:22
Um, yeah, definitely, definitely not miss it. Just make sure you didn't get married since last week. No, Christina. Yeah, not that I know of, not that I know of. Yes. He didn't do it. You'll lope. No, no, I'm not above it, but not this weekend. All right. Any of the any of you stallions out there? Hey, there it is. There it is. Yeah. Swoop up. Uh, co-host Yasi over here. No, my cat comes with me. Oh boy.
00:50
Yikes that might have killed all of it. There's an inappropriate joke I can make but I won't. I won't do it. Yes. Yes. I'm gonna stay away from it. How has your week been? It's been good. You were on vacation. Yeah for a couple days. Very nice. It was good. We were down at the lake. Extended weekend. We did this a little through Monday, Tuesday. It was good. Nicole's out for a few weeks from the job. And so we got away with the kids. Nice.
01:19
Yeah, it was nice. The weather was nice. It was sunny and warm, but not quite as stifling. Yeah It's been the last few. Yeah, it was more tolerable tolerable and had a few cold beverages and you know hung out on the water Take it back. Yeah, good stuff. Nothing. Did you? celebrate iPhone turning 15 You know I did by taking some pictures and some stories Instagram so yes, I did and I celebrated because we went we did go play
01:49
a little miniature golf at a place called Oasis. It was quite the Oasis. And proceeded to almost get taken down by my sons. We officially tied at the end, daddy came back. But it was- Do you go easy on them? Or are you like every man for himself? I mean, I'm not, I take, like, I'll take a couple whole seriously and like, you know, like really, then I kind of lose focus, but they're, you know.
02:16
They've gotten better. Let's just say that. I got you. And I'm not playing as much golf anymore. So my putting stroke's like the first thing to go. Sure. So it was quite the struggle just to hang in there. My dad would never go easy. He would ever, ever, ever. Generally speaking, Nicole and I are hyper competitive and we do not go easy on the kids. Totally. So I don't let them win. That's what I was asking. They're getting old enough, big enough, and coordinated enough that they- You gotta fight for it a little bit. I gotta fight a little harder. There it is. Just to hang in there.
02:45
Yes, iPhone did turn 15 and it makes me feel both having worked on the original iPhone launch It makes me feel both old and I don't know Stalagic it was a quite the iconic device and it still is yeah, you know It's taken over the world taken over the world where you have always an iPhone person
03:10
Like when she's from this time I've had one I bought yeah, you want a Blackberry person No, I'm talking about how old I was when I when Blackberry's came out like I didn't have a cell phone when Blackberry's came This is true. My grandmother got one and I thought she exactly I thought my grandmother was so cool I had an iPod touch. I had an iPod touch with my NV3 was my first cell phone The NV3 I worked on that. Yeah
03:37
Because they I was so cool. They were chocolate. Did you have a chocolate? No, I had the I had the steel blue. OK, and then I and I had the red one. How about the Motorola Razor? No, I always wanted one. I didn't get one. I wanted the pink one so badly.
03:51
I was probably one of the first phone watches I worked on. And then I had an LG Extrovert. The LG Extrovert was the last one I had before I got my iPhone. That was a little bit of a bobo phone. I hated it. With a little sliding. Yes. My mom had it, I found it. My mom had a Juke. Did you work on the Juke? Oh yes. Absolutely. I freaking, like bring the Juke back. Like the first music device. Hashtag bring the Juke back. Yeah, except MP3. Oh yeah. And it was just like. Yep.
04:16
The Juke, I worked on all these. That's so cool. All these, I remember the campaigns. Oh, love the Juke. The iconic campaigns. And then the Motorola Droid. That was fun to work on. Oh yeah. A little dark, a little different. Is when Motorola and Google took a little stab finally at that phone. I remember the Droid. It shipped into a wave for about a year. Yeah. Campaign was good. And then...
04:42
The iPhone proceeded to. If I had been of cell phone carrying age, I would have gotten a Droid, because I loved the advertisements. They like, I remember them. Droid. Droid. Oh yeah. Yeah. Everything iPhone can't, Droid can. Yeah. Droid does. There you go. That was the campaign. Yes, it was. I was literally in the room when we were concepting these campaigns. That's cool. It was cool. It brings back a lot of memories. And,
05:10
Yeah, lots changed in the, you know, a lot changed in like an eight year period there from like 2007 ish which is when the iPhone launched to like Maybe 2015. Yeah a lot of iteration a lot of innovation in the phones. Yeah last seven years There really hasn't been that much innovation. Do you think that in the device a lot of it has not a lot of it, but i've With apple specifically, I think a lot has changed since steve jobs passed. Would you agree with that? I think a lot's changed and I think
05:40
we found the core identity of what the phone is good for. Sure. You know, and most people said, why would I ever use a phone to take pictures? Like, okay, but pictures, music, communication, and the social media apps and texting. Yeah. Like, and that's why the iterations have been better performance of the cameras and certain, you know, audio and different things like that. More storage. But the actual like,
06:08
look, feel, and other large features just haven't changed that much because there just hasn't been anything kind of changed. I mean, Samsung's tried to push the envelopes with the larger screens, the folding phones, and the folding stuff, which is pretty interesting. I'm not sure it's found its quite use case niche, you know? But still brings back a lot of memories and it'll still be interesting to see where it goes. I think the next iteration is like.
06:37
maybe holograms or something or like, I don't know, like the Star Wars thing. I don't know, like if you can beam yourself, like if you're talking to someone and like somehow they create an augmented reality with you there, I don't know. I think that might be the next generation. Yeah, we'll have the metaverse on our phones. Yes, we'll see. What was your first cool phone, Nick? First cool phone was like a Samsung slide up inside the keyboard. Oh yeah.
07:07
Yeah, yeah, nobody want to get rid of the keyboards because it's texting right t9 word back. Oh, yeah Yes Iconic iPhone turned 15. Yes in a little bit of downer news Yeah, our Kelly got sentenced to 30 years as well. He should yes he should he's quite the not good person for a lot of reasons, but Yeah quite the mess
07:36
But hey, the justice system came through on that one. And did no more singing for him except in the shower. Again, a joke we won't make a joke we won't make. And on that, we have some tick tock updates for the fans. Yes, yes, we do. Viewer, the listeners, viewers at home. Yeah. These are new new stats that released this week.
08:03
57% of TikTok users are female or female identifying. 43% are between the ages of 18 to 24. And I'll call out that 50% are over 30. So before you go, oh, I know it was just younger people. Nope, it's not. And that's still, you know, I mean, 18, that's still an adult. You know, it's not a kid app, little children's app.
08:25
It's not like Webkin's. God, I love Webkin's. 3.4% are over the age of 55, and 3.4 does not sound like a lot, but that's 34 million people on this app. That's just how staggering the numbers are. Who are over the age of 55. Yep. This is for everybody, and it's here to stay.
08:45
Users currently spend an average of 52 minutes a day on it. I spend way more than that. That is full disclosure. That was a shocker to me. Almost an hour on the app a day. And 90, this is what was interesting to me, is 90% of them visit the app more than once. Like it's not just, you know, at one time. And the average session lasts 11 minutes, which is enough time to watch 26 videos that are about, you know, 25 seconds each. Too big to ignore, folks. A lot of attention is being spent on TikTok. As you can see, the data is going up.
09:15
It's interesting to track these numbers like, you know, month over month. Yeah. Even by the end of the year. But 11 minutes per session. Uh, a lot. Constantly consuming. In an hour a day. And that's going to be rising. Damn. Hour a day. If you were wasting a lot of damn time, you know, I love TikTok so much. I mean, you know, everybody needs to have their downtime. I guess he, you know, it's just taking over where they're watching. You know, it was TV before. Right. And now.
09:44
You know, that's eroding it. TV time, Facebook time, you know, like take away from something. TikTok made me buy an air fryer. Like I will go home and like look up air fryer recipes on TikTok. I'm one of those people now. TikTok made me buy it. Is there a hashtag? Yeah, the hashtag. Yep. What's TikTok made you buy, Nick? Nothing yet. Nothing yet. You should get an air fryer. My life has changed. Is it? Do you like an air fryer? I love it.
10:10
I love a lot of it's cuz like my oven frightens me like I think that something's wrong with it It smokes I've had it I've had my people in to fix it like at my apartment and it's still just it might explode it might explode So the air fryer has been good You like your frying Nick? Yeah, that's good. Yeah, I've never sweet potatoes in there exactly the taste like a fryer Yeah, is it crunchy? Yes, like you do french fries. They're crunchy. Mm-hmm. Come on, man
10:39
Come on. Oh yeah, I'm telling you. I'll believe when I see it. I'm telling you. All right. It's worth it. We need to get an Air Fryer sponsor, you know? Challenge accepted. Air Fryer brought to you by the Radcast. Oh yes. Speaking of food. Speaking of food, we did, this week, if you haven't listened to the Radcast this week, let me tell you, some weeks, inspirational, motivational, business journeys.
11:02
This is where you learn something this week. You need to go listen to Tom Roach's episode. One of the smartest guys in marketing. He's a strategist, one of the largest agencies in Europe called Jellyfish, and lots of knowledge teaching you about marketing from the top of the funnel to the bottom and how you need to think about branding, marketing, and what's happening on TikTok and what's happening in the evolution of advertising. And so you need to go check out that episode with Tom Roach that released this Tuesday. You'll thank me later.
11:32
And next week my friends my kids are excited. This might be the one episode. I'll let them listen to They'll they'll actually be interested in Casey Webb host of man versus food He's been on the food channel rest travel channel. I think it's technically a travel channel entity now, but uh nonetheless food network and Casey was awesome and Really down there nice guy
12:01
had a blast talking with him and maybe more to come with old Casey Webb and the radical folk. But more on that, but you need to listen. Casey was great talking about just his professional journey but then of course just the ins and outs of the show which was fascinating to learn about. My kids and I, it's one of those shows, there's so few, and Casey and I talked about how little television there is that you feel like you're comfortable watching with your kids. You know, like, and so we enjoy it cause it's just.
12:30
Talking about food. He talks about different foods, how it gets made. But then there's always the end challenge. How much food can Casey consume or how hot the food is? Yeah, he is. And he can eat some hot stuff. Geez. Like, oh, that might say, say what you think about. Right. Yeah. We're going to get to that a little in a little bit. The meat sweats. But, you know, you had the meat sweats, Nick. No comment. Yeah.
13:00
I don't know if I've eaten up. I mean, I don't know. I eat a lot of steak and you know, I don't know. I don't know. I've heard that term and it's like, I don't know if I get hot eating. Yeah, no, I don't. I get hot eating spicy food. But I did watch an episode where Casey ate like a 49. He ate the whole thing. Forty nine ounce, like some kind of tomahawk or something. That's a lot of damn meat. He ate the whole thing in 30 minutes or less. And he did it.
13:27
Oh no, I would be so ill. I kind of got the meat to us watching. Right. But yes, tune in next Tuesday anywhere, everywhere. And hey, you can watch that episode. See me and Casey talk a lot about food and a lot about his journey. And he was.
13:49
Super down to earth. So check it out next week And you know what next week also, you know, it brings me to you know if you're watching the episode it's easier to kind of get this analogy here, but July 4th is next weekend. And so in honor of being a little early with my patriotism. I do have on my American flag hat that is a little different than the casual American flag What would you call this? What would you call this style?
14:18
I don't know. Monochrome, black and white. My branded Bills, official sponsor of the rad, merchandise sponsor of the Radcast, I have on a American flag hat that I've actually owned for quite a bit. 15:42
You've seen us shipping address mention it so go check them out branded bills proud sponsor of the round cast branded bills dot-com No, we've got some social. Yeah, happy National postal worker day. Hey Don't go postal we appreciate our postal workers. Yeah, is that going postal is there's a bad thing It's not bad yet. Yeah in a couple years this episode could be canceled. Yeah
16:11
National Postal Worker Day. You know, I'm gonna go buy some stamps. There you go. I need to make it to the post office. I do love writing letters to people. That was the only fun part about my brother being in basic training was writing letters. Yeah. Tomorrow. UFO Day. Yes. Or UAP, unidentified aerial phenomenon. Yeah.
16:34
Yeah, if you want to come, if you want to see some UAP and come to my house with four kids, there's lots of UAP flying everywhere. You never know what kind of UAP you might get. You never know what it is. It is very unidentified. It all goes. Yeah. But yeah, do you believe in UFOs? There's something out there. I mean, not like in aliens. I don't believe in like extraterrestrial. I think that there's things we can't explain. Nick, you think there's some UFOs out there watching over us?
17:03
depends on what you mean by UFO. Like aliens. There's aliens and flying saucers. Could be. Sounds pretty definitive there, Nick. I think it's probably manmade. Yeah, I don't know. It's like...
17:20
I guess I'm just like a blue when I see a guy like I see the stuff online and I don't believe anything Most of what I watch online with deep fakes and everything else Like if I see a fucking alien walk by or right over me I'll be the first to tell you when I see it, but I haven't seen them I believe I like ghosts in houses. I've never seen a ghost. I believe in like ghosts and paranormal activity and demons and all that stuff Right, but I don't believe in aliens
17:50
Yeah, I. I don't discredit anyone that wants to tell me they've seen it, but I kind of need to see it, you know, and I've been some spooky places. I mean, I have. I've been freaked out. Oh, yeah. My mind is convinced me that maybe something was going on. But in truth, was there anything in front of me that I ever see anything that actually every know my mind tricked me into just being fear. Right. You know, having fear. Sure. But, you know, I don't know.
18:19
I gotta show me baby. Show me the money. Show me the UFOs. We'll see. And I'm gonna celebrate July 6th with my wife, International Kissing Day. There you go. You know? Aw. That's sweet. Precious. That's on Wednesday. Next Wednesday, don't forget. Kiss those that you love or that you don't love. You know? The world needs more. Mono. Well, yeah. Don't need any more mono, but we need more, you know.
18:48
More love, more kissing. And then because it happens before our next episode, July 7th, World Chocolate Day. World Chocolate Day. And how can you not celebrate World Chocolate Day? I like some chocolate. Who doesn't like chocolate? Look, I'm. Unless you're allergic or something, like a dog. You're insane. Yeah. I like but. Dark chocolate. No. Oh, you a milk chocolate guy? Yes. Only milk chocolate. No.
19:13
Oh, I'm devastated. Bitter, 72% or higher. Bitter dark chocolate. Unless there's caramel involved. Give me milk chocolate. I need some milk in that thing. You know what I'm talking about? Nick, you with me? Milk chocolate? No, Nick's a dark chocolate guy. I think I like the dark stuff. I knew it. Like your black coffee, too, on the same page with this.
19:36
No, but look I'm not gonna discriminate against chocolate. We're gonna have to end this episode right here I've been fired next week. It's like Christina's no longer on the show anymore. She's no longer here because Of all the opinions we don't share. You know what I like to do with dark chocolate I get in the lane. You're gonna do the toilet one now That's where dark chocolate belongs. Oh, that's where it goes. Oh lies. But that's all we got for holidays. Yeah
20:05
trends in the metaverse. We're just going to get straight in here. I've got to leave that behind as fast as possible. And I got to go find a milk chocolate bar somewhere to feed my face. What we got here. So Mark Zuckerberg expects billions with a B of people to use the metaverse generating massive revenue for meta. This man and his money.
20:33
The Facebook co-founder explained that he expects the metaverse to be massive and become a major part of his company's business over the next decade. He said, and I quote, this is Mark Zuckerberg. We are at this point, you know, a company that can afford to make some big long-term research investments. And this is a big focus. So to me, Facebook meta is just pouring tons of money. I mean, he changed his neck. Like what else is a guy that changed the name of his business to meta?
21:00
I'm going to say about the metaverse. And I'm torn between like, this is the next thing or this is just his. I just started a car. I just opened a car dealership selling cars. It's the future of the world. It better be. And I think it is going to be a big part of it. It's it's it's the evolution of gaming and kind of the world and shopping. And I get it's the it's happening. But like, yeah, it's a little self self-serving.
21:29
to a degree and you know, he added, I saw he put this by utilities to be able to be more productive in virtual and augmented reality. So you're gonna buy apps on top of being in the app. You know, in a way. Just gonna spend, spend, spend. Yeah. It's gonna be wild. So it's obviously coming. Yeah. And.
21:50
My kids, again, like I've said, they do care what their avatars are wearing. So it's clearly gonna matter more as we move along. And to a specific demographic as well. But you know, it feels to me like this dystopian world, though, where no one's gonna leave their house. Uh-huh, it's a little eerie. It's a little bit eerie. That's where this feels like it's headed. Right. Where everything outside of the house, I mean, just inside, you're in...
22:18
Foe world. Yeah, you know, I guess it's a real world if you think it is But it still feels very like disconnected and dehumanizing. Yes to an extent. I think that's where It gets the issues are gonna come or like is the dehumanizing Depersonalizing like out of body experience out of touch with reality You're not out of touch. You're just in a different one, which is Concerning to me as well or could be potentially. Yeah So we'll see I thought this was interesting
22:48
Serial entrepreneur anyway, you're not gonna know his name and I'm gonna say it his prediction I'll be in the show notes. Yeah in the show notes predictions for the metaverse in 2030. It's a 2030 We're still a few years away. Yeah, the next phase of the members will be fidgetle Get fidgetle Don't pay to listen to the show if you did, you know, you I'd have to pay you to listen to my singing Combine the physical and digital
23:18
Okay, that's that's fidgetal fidgetal. I had to Google that to make sure I was like, surely it's not that pedantic. Yeah, but it is. Remember that song, you know, you know, you don't let's get physical. Look it up and what that over like while I'm talking right now, I expect that song. You'll have it stuck in your head. Don't you worry. The metaverse will revamp the education system. I could see this thing. Yeah, I can actually see this happening.
23:46
If you tell me I can go to grad school and not have to leave the state, that's amazing. You've got online schooling already happening, right? So if if kids can stay home and be in some type of hybrid environment, yeah, that's a little more like this makes sense to me. Right. More tactile than just, you know, e-learning. Yeah. On some level. And then have a social aspect.
24:11
I can even see you going to a campus and having these experiences and then the social aspect being, because you still gotta be able to have raging parties. You know, so like, I still. Some of us didn't get that, but it's fine. And you can't have ragers in the metaverse, or can you? Or at Bob Jones, but you know, it just depends on where you go to school. I'm gonna trademark right now, PJ in the metaverse and the bathtub that you make it in.
24:34
and some Metafruit. Oh, keg, Metakeg? Metakeg, Kegiverse. Kegiverse. The workforce will move to the Metaverse. Okay, I can see this a little bit. For certain industries I can see that. And then digital properties will have a greater impact on GDP. Well, I mean, if combining the last two articles, if...
25:03
what Mark Zuckerberg hopes happens, which he's probably headed there. He has enough money to make sure it does happen. Right, and the resources. Yeah. As more people and more money is spent in these digital properties, it is gonna have an impact on GDP. Yeah, it has to. But it will be, it's still, is it in replacement of spending that's already happening, or is it in addition to? Right, right, is it in, yeah, exactly. So we'll see where it goes. Stay tuned. But I think...
25:29
Again, these some of these make sense and I think that's where some of this will these practical use cases will start to unfold. Sure. And it might happen in a more meaningful way than just and sooner than we think, you know, T-shirt drops and right. And when the NFTs, Roblox that are on every corner. McDonald's, meanwhile, is staking out a virtual camp in their mobile app.
25:54
McDonald's this month is bringing a virtual camp experience that features a variety of deals menu hacks and other programming exclusively to its mobile app The virtual camp experience is another indication that the fast-food chain views its mobile app as a linchpin to winning the hearts of Gen Z This is a huge effort for them. I Think this is fun. Yeah, you know Do you use the McDonald's app do McDonald's? No, I don't I say my kids there. Yeah
26:23
Every now they'd like to go every week, every day. We go probably once, twice a month. Sure. We tend to go to Wendy's or something. Yeah. Chick-fil-A. Yeah. And I will say this, we used to do, I used to do hotcake Friday with my two middle boys and they've kind of grown out of it a little bit. And then we had the pandemic, which kind of shut it down. We had literally done. Cause I have them. Um,
26:51
Every Friday morning I was taking them to school and we did like a hundred and twenty eight Fridays in a row, something like that. Oh, in grade school. Yeah, that's really cool. That's really cool. Every it was hotcake Friday. But you never use the app? No. Pre pandemic. And I know they had the app. They had the app for a while, but we never use the app.
27:15
Yeah, I don't have it. I'm not a big McDonald's person. I have the Chick-fil-A app, but I never I have a chick play app I have like a Zaxby's app. I never use them few the places we regular Panera I Yeah, I think I do have the Panera now use my Starbucks app way more than I want anyone to know I think everyone does as I will say this as we've graduated from McDonald's We do go to Starbucks now and when we sit there The number of people that have ordered on the app like
27:43
My 12 year old goes, Dad, I think we need to open a Starbucks. Cause he sees the number of people coming in and out. I love it. Little entrepreneurs. He's like, You see how many people are coming in and out of here and now it's like running joke, how many people come in and out of that place. Just for the mobile. And we see the same people. Cause we go there between there and Panera the last, this past year. Sure. And probably went to Starbucks 20 times on Fridays. And...
28:11
You see 85% of the people are the same. They're coming in and out. Oh, yeah. No, they know me at my Starbucks I know my cat too. I brought him like in the drive-through just came out of the house. Yeah like a dog But back to the virtual yes, I think it's fun I mean It's for the Gen Z. It is it's cool. I don't think I'm ever gonna drop my kids off there, but you know
28:38
It's all about being relevant to different genres. I just like McDonald's always, it's just always gonna be there. Yeah. You know? I think they will. We'll see. So Slash, Guns N' Roses fans out there, Slash is entering the metaverse to host a virtual reality concert. They've joined the metaverse to host a performance in virtual reality. Artists everywhere are seeing SVR and Magic Mirror as the ultimate digital representation of their art, giving their fans a totally original experience built
29:08
for the highest levels of immersion. So kind of cool. It's cool. I like it. I love it. You know, is it is it actually Guns N' Roses is performing or just. Yeah, it's just him. See, but still, I mean, what is Guns N' Roses without Slash? I know, but where's Axel? But they're they've also re released some vinyls, I believe. Yeah. God, that.
29:35
Sweet Child of Mine, it was like one of the first songs that came out and I'm like, oh God, that's so good. Then November Rain, oh yeah. So good. Oh yeah. Classics. We speak for our own music taste. Maybe not chocolate, but music taste. Okay, okay. Peace offering. Yeah, there you go, see? And that wraps up our Metaverse News. I know. Out we go. Trends.
30:05

But back to marketing, Coca-Cola teams up with Marshmallow for a limited edition flavor. And that's not just the food Marshmallow, that's the artist as well. Coke will release a limited edition flavor in July. So this month that was created in collaboration with Grammy nominated artist Marshmello, the new flavor, which introduces strawberry to watermelon to the Coke flavor, marks the first time the Coca-Cola company has co-created a beverage with an artist.
30:36
I didn't realize this was the first time I didn't either. But I like this. The cans are going to be the black and white. They're really cool. Like marshmallow. This is fun. Makes a lot of sense, especially with their new taste in combinations and things they've been doing with the platform. So Coca-Cola creations. Do you like marshmallow? I do like marshmallow. I like the artist and I like to eat marshmallows.
30:58
I freaking love marshmallows. You know, I remember a kid like stuffing my face with like marshmallow. And sometimes you get too many in there. It's a little scary. But my brother and I would throw the minis back and forth to try to catch him. Hey, here's the thing. Have you ever seen the marshmallow gun? Yes. I wanted one so badly, my mom almost bought them one year for Christmas. Oh, Peggy, man. Peggy of the marshmallow. But my kids have a I had one at one point. I don't know what happened to it. I just throw them. Now I just get hit with the Nerf guns. There you go.
31:27
Right in the face. Turned because they love you. Yeah, that's the UAP right there. Hey, there it is. Callback. I like this. It's fun. It's a great combo for the brand. It makes a lot of sense. And I'll try it. This is I've got to totally try it. Pay for. Yeah, I kind of want to taste it. And
31:49
I like Marshmello. Most of his music, all his collabs are good. Yeah, yeah. Every time I hear him, I kind of know that sound now, like with someone, but pretty good. Nick, you like Marshmello? Yeah, I like his collabs. They're good. Collabs!
32:05
This is cool. Alka-Saltzer drops a new hangover relief product. I might have to get some of this before the weekend. Yeah, like that. Like time, you know, like time gets some fun time sometimes. There you go. I'm going to have a little marshmallow Coke, wash it down with some Alka-Saltzer hangover. To promote the new product designed to alleviate hangovers, T-Pain remixed the Bears brand classic jingle in his distinctive auto-tune croon, the hip hop influence take on the.
32:33
Plop, plop, fizz, fizz. Earworm is available to stream on Alka Seltzer's website and is attached to a TikTok dance challenge. Always. And I'll see that. Alka Seltzer's making a move, a more forward play for the party going crowd with this new Hangover product in partnerships with T-Pain.
32:54
The modernized take on the brand stage of tritones intended to be an anthem for the morning after this, just what you want. You want to put T pain on after you have a hangover. I usually want something a little more mellow. Personally, you know, like silence, but I might be taking, I might try out the, yeah, this is why not. I will say this. So the secret's out. If I'm a little hung over, I usually take, you know, three Advil and a couple of Alka seltzers anyway. Like, so.
33:24
There might be onto something here. Yeah. It's a good combo. The trick, you had to do the Advil before and the Alka-Seltzer the next morning. That and a liquid, an IV. Yep, the liquid IVs. Yeah, liquid IV you need to call us. That'd be a perfect sponsor in there. And depending on the day, a mimosa. Because that's the only way to get over it, is to keep drinking.
33:44
Those are facts. Yeah. Bloody Mary's anyone? That's a Bloody Mary for me. Yeah, no I can't. I'll do a mimosa. You can have the Bloody Mary. Yeah, I can do either way. I'm an equal opportunity hangover killer guy. I gotcha, employer, there you go. I try to, you know, I will say this, you get old enough. I don't get that many hangovers anymore. I know how to have a great time the night before and I have a great time. I mean, I have to, and...
34:09
I can balance it out so that where I are, it doesn't crush my morning anyway. You know, like, I don't know. It's a it's an old man. I was too young for that right now. Part of it's drinking a few sips of Gatorade and waters throughout the night. I'll do coconut water and take a multi-bottle. I mean, I could pour one on pretty good. Yeah. As long as I'm drinking hydrated through the night and hit a Gatorade before I go Gatorade a few Advil for bed. If I'm a seltzer, I prefer in the morning, dude, I'm ready.
34:37
to do anything. I'll go work on the plantation, whatever you need me to do. Cut some grass. My hangovers are never intentional. You know, pick the garden, whatever. The night just gets away from me. And then the next day I'm like, oh no mistakes were made. If I know I'm going out, like I take the right precautions, but sometimes happy hour turns into 11 o'clock and I'm like, oh no. 11 o'clock, come on. I need like five hours of sleep and I'm good. Oh yeah, no. I mean, yeah, insomnia, but I was dying. A couple of weeks ago I walked in here, hungover and I was like, this is the end for me.
35:06
Yeah, it's not fun going to work on it. I really hope that's why you avoid the hangover to begin with. It doesn't mean you're 100 percent, but you know, but you're at least 85 or higher. You know, like Nick, you know, you know how to avoid them. Yeah, I like Bloody Mary's and. And. That's a T-shirt. I like Bloody Mary's and Advil. Yes. Iconic. Everything in moderation.
35:33
Including moderation. Mm-hmm. That's a sobering reality right there. That's uh, I'm good for an Abe Lincoln said that So the old wives shows good that it was Winston Churchill Yes, but back to moderation Kraft mac and cheese. They have a little rebrand Let's see. Where am I here? Craft rebrands macaroni and cheese to promote comfort food as something positive as opposed to a guilty pleasure
35:57
The move includes a name change from this is kind of silly Kraft macaroni and cheese to Kraft mac and cheese Reflecting on how customers originally or organically talk about the product Packaging will come in a single blue hue that draws greater attention to the non perishable items noodle smile iconography Which has been redesigned with more dripping cheese mmm, love that I Do like look listen this is mac and cheese is one of my favorite my favorite food like if there's
36:25
There's a lot of things like from kid carryover to adult care of that just didn't make it. This made it like I can eat some mac and cheese. I can live on it. It's my favorite thing. The kids love it. It's one of the few foods in the whole house that I think everyone eats. Like we got some picky eaters, you know, you have four boys, we got to eat anything and then to they're like the world's pickiest eaters. And just about all, I think all of them universally, except for maybe Hudson, eat mac and cheese. How do you go wrong?
36:54
I mean, and I can eat the homemade kind, the mac, the craft, the shells of cheese. Sign me up. It makes me want, you know what it makes me want to play. That's me. Money. Yeah. I'm universal.
37:16
That's uh, that's what I think about mac and cheese. Nicely done. Uh, and it makes, I like this. Hey, it's happy to talk about it. When do you ever go, Right, it makes sense. I'm gonna have some Kraft macaroni and cheese. I know. No, I'm having mac and cheese. I like it. And uh, Hey, comfort free positioning. I mean, I don't know how much that cheese, you know, how real you can really make the powder cheese look or whatever. Right, right. And if you get the shells and cheese, the Velveeta at least, you know, squeezes out, you know.
37:42
You know it's good though. It's so good. Don't act like you don't get that Sarah. Oh but making it I'm always a little bit gaggy. I'm like alright this is fine. Worth it. And I think we're going to cut it off there folks. It's been a good week. Indeed. Any final words? No, I got nothing.
38:02
