01:28
Christine Yasi. In my yellow glasses. Mr. Nick Weaver on the ones and twos. Yo, yo. What's happening? Not much. It's a blustery day here in South Carolina. It is getting blustery. It feels good, though. Yeah. Our pre-hurricane weather. Yes, it's gusty. And speaking of hurricane, anyone that's been impacted, definitely want to send our thoughts out there.
01:53
It looks, I mean, I don't know all the numbers or anything yet. No, I don't either. It looks pretty nasty. Yeah. I've seen some pictures of uprooted trees. And that's about it. I don't know. It's, you just, when you live on the coast, it's like, you know, like I would just, I would, I guess you always have to have it in the back of your mind a little bit. No, thank you. But then it probably goes just long enough. Cause you know how we are as humans.
02:15
Right. Kind of like a woman having a baby. Right. You know, like you'd never do it again. Block it out. But we block things out. And I've never had one, but I just know because I just imagine I'm like, how do you go through that? How do you put yourself through it more than once? And then the same thing with a hurricane, like, OK, it happens, but they there's probably spread out enough that you're like, OK, we live in a wonderful, so awesome. Right. And oh, shit, there's a hurricane warning. But in all seriousness, we do.
02:42
Send our thoughts, prayers out for anyone impacted. You never know. Stay safe. And, um, you know, this hit me like last night, like it both made me feel old and it nostalgic, cool. He had passed away. I know. Yeah. Thanks to paradise. Probably where he is. We had it. We talked pre-episode, you know, and it made me feel even older. I was like, how old are you guys when, uh, when that song came out and I don't think either one of you were out of the womb. I was born. It was the year I was born. Yeah.
03:13
You remember that some say that I brought the gangsters paradise of just getting known so You know, this was like I Mean gangsters paradise, which is the first is a little more serious But cool. It was kind of like that feel-good. Yeah, you know, yeah, like if you didn't like rap you still like to play
03:39
I like that song. It's a bop. It's a fantastic voyage. So RIP Coolio. Thanks for everything. I know. Time gets us all unfortunately. Indeed. Some earlier than needed but nostalgia of yeah I'm not going to look for a fall. The 27 Club. Yeah exactly. I was a senior in high school. Wow. Yeah.
04:08
The year I was born. You guys just keep me young. You know, that's the goal around here. It's been a good week. Hope everyone checked out Tuesday's episode with Sean Merriman, ex NFL, lights out brand. Sean's a great business guy. He's been through some ups and downs and talked transparently about all his journey and business journey and, you know, really insightful dude.
04:36
You know, no matter how you feel about football players and the sport and business and like how all this stuff comes together, like he was very insightful about his upbringing and like, you know, having a chip on his shoulder or where he came from. And then, you know, the ups and downs in business of, you know, it doesn't just happen. And but he does seem like a natural business guy. And I know he's getting it figured out in his time in the UFC. Well, UFC minor leagues that they're doing with lights out.
05:05
You know, the behemoth that is UFC, but cool. Go check that out. That came out on Tuesday. Uh, and then, you know, it's interesting. Next week, we've got a couple of things planned and it's either going to be a best of edition. Ooh. Yeah. And so working on some ideas on that and we've got a few get, we have four or five guests that are lined up.
05:30
that I'm excited about, but they all just kind of started to fall towards the end of this month and early next month. So we've been doing a couple of re-releases and just kind of reframing a few things for final end of the year push here in fourth quarter. Yes. So more to come on that. Check out all my social channels. You'll see teasers for everything coming up at Ryan Allford on Instagram. Best place to find anything and everything that's going on or at the dot rad dot cast on Instagram.
05:59
to see what's coming. I did want to mention, speaking of the Radcast, if you're looking or you're listening and you're looking to move to the fabulous area that is Greenville, South Carolina, or already here, I am hiring a brand manager for both my personal brand and the Radcast. So there's gonna be a combination of- Greenville, local. Social, yeah. We don't need, we have and use resources all over the world as an agency and as a team, but-
06:26
this position with just the nature of running a live show and being here with us and helping produce and manage social and everything that's related to my brand and the show, we are looking for someone as a brand and content coordinator. And so. You get to work with us. Yeah, you know. We're a damn delight. We are a delight. But it's a cool, look, it's a cool opportunity. Okay. You know, you'll learn a lot, you'll get mentored directly by me, and then, you know.
06:54
Uh, as our wall here, which is about to get redone, we'll show shortly. Nick's been working on some great artwork for our wall over here. All intermingling with celebrities, football, basketball, athletes, famous founders, really great opportunity to meet and rub shoulders with some really influential people while managing a top 25, uh, worldwide business podcast. So.
07:22
Great opportunity if you're interested, DM me, that's the best way to get me on Instagram, at Ryan Alford as I just mentioned. Great opportunity. Speaking of great opportunities, Think Billions is less than a month away. You need to go to my profile and click on my link tree and you'll find the link to Think Billions or go to thinkbillions.club for more information on that event.
07:45
movers, shakers, I'm getting a lot of actually DMs on like LinkedIn and Instagram from people that are attending that didn't know were coming, like some VIP guests. This is gonna be a big event. And the Radcast is gonna be there live. Nick and I are gonna be there recording parts of the event with the guests and some of the VIP guests and doing the Radcast on the road. So we'll be there live and in person.
08:10
And so if you want more information on that, or you're ready to go to the next level, go to thinkbillions.club or click on the link tree. There'll be additional details coming about the final push. We're getting close people, you gotta start booking your travel. So the clock is ticking. Speaking of ticking, it's always ticking around here, is my branded Bills gear that I'm gonna have on today. I've mixed it up today with my black.
08:37
with the kind of faux leather patch, but it's fashionable. Little more earthy. Yeah, goes well with my Air Jordans. What doesn't go well with the Air Jordans though? Let's be honest. But think, excuse me, branded bills, I'm getting all my sponsors. We have so many sponsors and so many things now. So many exciting things happening. You know, I'm getting all my websites, inner webs messed up, but branded bills, brandedbills.com, official merchandise sponsor.
09:07
We just pushed our own order. We did. For some hoodies and beanies. So that will be on full display. But we're surrounded by a land of hats and merch. And it's because it's the best in the business. That's all we do around here. Is look, I'm a hat freak. And I wear, my closet's full of shoes and hats. And watches. And yes, that's true too. Yes. Hats, watches, shoes.
09:32
And 90% of my gear is branded bills. It's for a reason. It's not, I was wearing branded bills before they were a sponsor. Before it was cool. And before they were a sponsor of the show. Just kidding, they've always been cool. They've always been cool. But go to brandedbills.com, interradcast20. Yes, indeed. Get 20% off your entire order. They also do custom orders, i.e. what we have here. They have incredible designs by state, by...
10:00
American flag by streetwear. They do have some cool. They have a really cool design. Yeah. Some people that do like this kind of custom gear, like the designs, you'll be like, eh, but I go there every time because I'll be doing some of the research for like the show or something. I'm like, hmm, like making my little short list for Christmas or something. So, uh, using our coupon code, Radcast 20 branded bills.com. Tell them we sent you and you'll be glad you did because it's some bad ass shit.
10:30
Speaking of badass shit, here's the deal. So we run a full service digital agency here in Greenville, Health Carolina. It's called Radical. And we work with medium to large businesses, anywhere from 50 to 200 million dollars in revenue. There's certainly some outliers in that. But the reality is not everyone can hire an ad agency. And we recognize that, which is why we were proud.
10:57
partner with 99designs. By Vista. Who is sponsoring today's episode. So by Vista, 99designs by Vista. You probably heard the ad at the start of the episode, but want to give them a shout out. And look, you get like 99designs for like minimal cost. Let me tell you. Yeah. Minimal cost with a discount. We get 40 bucks off. You go to 99designs.com slash Radcast. You can access all of that info. Yes. And
11:26
This is how you get stuff done efficiently. So if you're a startup, you're thinking of starting a brand, you don't need, you need to start slow, keep the budget light, you need to go to 99 Designs. Hey, if you just have an idea and you wanna see something conceptual, it's a great way to get it done affordably as well. Yep. 99 Designs by Vista, thanks so much for sponsoring today's episode. We've got some social media holidays. We do. Happy pod international podcast day.
11:54
Yes, today. Yes, it is. We're going to be doing a giveaway to celebrate. So make sure you're following our social media and participate in that. Yes, yes. We could do international, too. It's not just, you know, US podcast. And it fell on our podcast day, too. I know. Sometimes the world aligns or maybe they did it on purpose. Maybe they're aligning. They were like, we have to. It's when the red cast drops. This is when we have to do it. Yes, we're international. And tomorrow, Saturday, is International Coffee Day.
12:24
Hey, coffee and podcast. Which I celebrate every day. Yes, you do. I'm an addict. So October 1st is here, folks. And you start it with a coffee or a nice energy drink, like I will. Caffeine, caffeine, caffeine. And then Sunday, my hubris, is my birthday. Oh, this is a really good social holiday. 27, it is, yes. You can all follow me and my cat on Instagram. Wish us happy birthday. Yes.
12:50
Not that it's his birthday, but I don't know when his is. Do you want to announce how old you are? I'm 27. 27. Forget this bullshit age nonsense. I'm proud of my age. I know you are so old. I am. I mean, I told you pre-episode. Preventative Botox. I used to think you were like this young thing. Now 27 does sound like older. So I'm too old for Leo DiCaprio. Nick's still young thing. You're like just, you're just kinda. Pushing 30. Happy birthday. It's great the older you get, the younger you can date. That's my rule.
13:19
The what's that? The older you get, the younger you can date. Cause you really like all these guys. I'm going to become Leo DiCaprio. I'm going to start only dating. Go into verse order. Exactly. Exactly. I don't know about that. I don't know how he keeps up with the, uh, I could keep up, but I just, I don't know the drama of having to date people over and over again. Yeah. 27 year olds are the high maintenance. It's not even this. It's just a, just the notion of dating someone different every five months. This, they.
13:46
You know, it's like, all right, I would not, I don't wanna go back. Yeah, no. Nicole, you're stuck with me. Yeah. Monday the fourth. Yes, October 4th. October 4th, is that the third? I don't know. It's the fourth, it's Monday. Monday the fourth is World Animal Day and National Vodka Day. Wow. Yes. It is, two of my favorite things. Yes, is Monday the fourth though or is it the third?
14:11
Monday is the third, but I think that World Animal Day is the fourth and I made an error. So I believe it's Tuesday is World Animal Day. It's all good. Tuesday is World Animal Day. October is National Vodka Day also. Yes, yes. We got to make sure because I don't want anyone like pre pre-partying with vodka. I mean, I would pregame national vodka. OK, you know, you can start that. Yeah, exactly. Yeah. Start with like a smirnoff. Tuesday the fourth. You know, when you're chasing animals and.
14:39
Drinking your vodka. I drove past a, like a Catholic church yesterday and they have an animal blessing ceremony because it's for, I don't know, St. Francis or something, who's like the patron saint of animals. World animal day is a Catholic holiday. Read my lips, no. People bring their dogs into church to be blessed, which is so great. Maybe Marshall will get his hearing back if I did that. That's what I should do, see if I can heal. Animals in church just doesn't sound right. I don't know, that's just me.
15:09
They were all on the Ark. Yeah. Which feels, I think it's the same. But that's because the world, God had flooded the world and like, he's like, you can take them on the Ark because we gotta save these beasts. Because we have to keep them. You know? Beasts. But, you know, I don't know.
15:25
I feel like it's a little bit of a distraction if you're trying to kind of like focus. Sure, sure. I would be more inclined to go to church if there were animals there. That's how I would get back. Yeah. Sorry, mom and dad. For your birthday, you can always, you know. Sure, there it is, there it is. It's a good time to start back. It's true, there you go. That's what I'll do. Thank God for one more year. There it is, around the sun. There it is. There's your social holidays. Indeed. We have one little social media update for everybody. Our little TikTok update. They have released a dislike button.
15:55
I think they're the first social media platform to do this. I'm here for this one. Yeah, I think this is long overdue. They launched it in April. My problem might be that I'm going to be negative Nancy because I'm going to dislike a lot of shit. And it's just so everyone knows if a comment is irrelevant or inappropriate. Yeah, it's it's almost like reporting a comment. I wish it was more on disliking the content, not just the comments. Right. Right. It's the first I read this and I'm like, oh, this is awesome. I'm going to dislike lots of videos.
16:23
I like I like a lot of YouTube. Just a hater down vote on YouTube. Yeah, that's that needs to be there on TikTok, especially. Yeah, my feet's been getting junked up lately. I'm like, this is like fix the algorithm. Fix it. Fix it now. You know, some of the comments, it's so spam like my my channels. Oh, I half of it's like spam bullshit. Like, yeah, I don't know why they can't get rid of some of these bots that are obviously just like they come on there and it's like this the same thing.
16:51
You know, I was really going through some tough times and but luckily Madeline wizard, you know, read my tarot cards and like it's a definite in her profile. Like at first you're like, Oh, what is this? And like, now that I've seen it a hundred times, they're just spamming like the comments on my feet, Madison wizard or whatever, you know, like, or, Oh, you know, I was going through a rough time, but luckily I found
17:15
Crypto Michael. Right, right. He saved everything. I bought it from $5 to 5,000 in one week. Right. And I was like. You can too. I did click, I clicked on Crypto Michael. Not really. Don't, do not click, do not click on anyone. Clicked but didn't follow. No, I didn't. It's okay. You know, put it on my story. Nah, kidding. God, I suppose I understood my TikTok. It's a lot of spam and I'll be disliking a lot of comments for sure on TikTok as well. First it was just Instagram TikToks now. Like I posted a video of.
17:44
the other day and like I was like eight comments in like four seconds. I was like, wow, what is this? And I was like, you know, down, down, down. It was all spam, obviously bots annoying. All right. Never mind. But that's all we got for social media. However, bumping into our advertising and entertainment news, James Earl Jones is hanging up his cape as Darth Vader. Did you see this? I did see this is wild. I love this so much instead of my master.
18:13
James Earl Jones voicing the iconic character. It's now going to live on artificially through an AI program that was featured based in the Ukraine. And he's like sold the rights to his voice. He's 91, did you know that? Yeah, I did. I had no idea he was that old. I didn't know that he hadn't passed, to be honest with you. I think I probably would have heard it, but it just, I knew he had to be getting up there. And this is both scary and crazy at the same time, but it's not surprising because we use
18:42
I use occasionally, we use Nick Weaver, but for real editing, but like my foe editing, like when I need to do something, there's a piece of software that will like, if there's one word that I didn't say, it can mimic my voice. And if you did, it's not, I think as far along as, whatever they're using at a high, high level, it's probably new AI, but like.
19:06
one word you can pull it will kind of do. And I think if I read full sentence, it probably sound robotic or something. Sure. But it'll plug in your voice. So there's stuff like this out there that's coming. And the same thing with like because imagine like that combined with CGI or a deep fake. Yeah. That's on Star Wars. Going to pioneer it. Maybe a CGI of James Earl. Yeah. Of him talk with him talking with the AI. And they did a lot of like the deep fake stuff.
19:34
in the more recent Star Wars with, you know, Carrie Fisher and all that stuff. So it's going to get to the point with video where if you're not watching it live, if you're not there, you're not going to know. You're going to either not know or question. Yeah. You know, like, is this 100%? You know, and I did see like some political guy, like some guy like inspiring violence or something, and he was blaming it on a deep fake.
19:58
You know, when I think it was clear that I don't remember who it was, I don't want to get in politics. It was gorgeous that you're going to see people using on both sides, like if people are going to get faked and be legitimate and then people are going to say, Oh, I was deep faked. You know? Yeah. Yeah. Oh, that's so icky. I don't like that at all. Fascinating. But yeah, James Will Jones, 91 years old, an EGOT winning actor. It's going to be interesting the impact from a marketing and advertising and like spokesperson standpoint with like money. Yeah.
20:28
The uh...
20:31
how people get compensated and your name image likeness, like when you've got this type of thing. I imagine he'll still get royalties or his family will when he passes for using his voice, even though it's AI of his voice. Gets into some interesting realms with marketing and spokesperson. And the legality you don't think of, like all of how technical that could get. It's just fascinating.
21:00
Next up, we have to patent your own voice. You have to get like, and I'm surprised this doesn't happen anyway. But like, especially when it lives beyond yourself, like you have to, and Eric, he has such a unique voice. You either trademark or patent or whatever, maybe trademarks, better word. Sure. But after doing some research yesterday, speaking of research, this is a good thing to note, speaking of patent and trademark, the Radcast is
21:26
If you can't see me holding, we have one more hurdle. We're about to get the trademark for that. So exciting. So all you jokers out there that have like the Radcast in your name, you started after us. This says my lawyer is getting right up in your shit real soon. We'll send you a hat. We'll send you a hat. Yeah. Our lawyer contacted me yesterday. We got to have like one more little thing. Oh, yeah. Yeah. So anyway, down that same path, I think you're going to see people start to trademark or.
21:55
There'll be some kind of new, I don't know, copywriting law around it. So we'll see. I should trademark my voice. I do a lot of voice work. Apple Music is sponsoring the Super Bowl, which is totally different because it used to be Pepsi, but Super Bowl, it's what, the 50?
22:15
Seventh Super Bowl this year that sounds right which is scheduled for February 12th We the first time the music streaming service acts as a presenting sponsor for the mid-game extravaganza Pepsi held the rights after the past decade, but stepped away after Set away from the halftime show in May all remaining an NFL partner. I saw that that's all and Rihanna is gonna be Rihanna is doing the halftime show
22:39
I love Rihanna. My first dance recital was to Rihanna. You know, like, she, I like her. I know who she is. Yeah. But I wasn't aware of maybe the scale that she was. I know she's worldwide. I know she has like a freaking makeup brand that's like worth a billion dollars or something. So like, I know these things from a business point. But I guess I didn't realize. I was like, is she Super Bowl name worthy? But I guess so. Oh, yeah. I mean, I'm very excited. Yeah. So, but Apple Music.
23:07
Interesting makes a lot of sense. Surprised it didn't happen before. Uh huh. Me too. And look, I use Apple music personally. I know a lot of people use Spotify and I have it. I've used it before. But here's the problem. Total tangent. I'm ready for this. If you have an iPhone, Spotify does not sound as good as Apple music. And I think it's because Apple's probably doing some shenanigans and you can like, love it or hate it.
23:36
But the reality is, and I've done side by side, it sounds a million times better when you listen to Apple Music. And so thus, if you're on their ecosystem, I just choose Apple Music. So. Same, same, same. And I don't have a problem with their platform. Like there's certain things I like about- When my friends post the Spotify rap, I'm like, I don't care, I don't care. Like all the stuff that I listen to is on both platforms. Right. And they're relatively the same cost. We have like the family plan. Sure. So like.
24:03
My kids and my wife and I are like $14 or something. So I was like, it's not any cheaper on Spotify. I will say there are some weird like niche musicals that are only on, I'm such a nerd, that are only on Spotify. So I have like Spotify with the ads, but I avoid it at all costs. SoundCloud has some weird stuff that I listen to. Which I don't mind, I listen to the ads to listen to like some Two Friends mixes. Oh yeah. Nick, you don't come out with Two Friends?
24:32
Don't know that one. You guys are so behind. Challenge accepted. This is like totally in your genre too. I'm the old guy listening. Two friends. Anyone out there that's like 22 is like nodding their head. Listen to this. Go on. Well, I'm 27. So like that's too young for me. They do. They do mashups like like a one hour mix set. Two friends is what they're called. Yeah. And uh, they'll do a one hour mashup. That's a lot that they add kind of EDM,
25:02
and they mash up like over that hour. Yeah, probably 100 songs. They play like 15 seconds of the song, but it's mashed up and it's mixed like I would like them. So anyway, cool. Good workout. Good for workout. I always need workout music. I work out to podcasts. Good energy. I mean, it's not I don't. Yeah, I guess you could do it anywhere, but it's definitely a good a vibe workout vibe vibe. As the kids say, you know, the only treadmill turn it up. Yeah.
25:28
never know what kind of like wondering what the next song you're gonna hear. That's kind of the fun of it. I think it's kind of like what they get off running and they blend it in, you know, so it's kind of like radio, but better. That's right. So total tangent, but Apple music and Superbowl makes a lot of sense. This next one, I, this was all over my, like my LinkedIn and my Twitter feed, but the MLB games that were infiltrated by actors with the creepy smiles.
25:56
to promote the new film, Smile, that comes out today. It's in theaters the 30th today. Multiple media outlets have written about the creepy stunt, which only went viral due to the actor's commitment to the role, like the whole game, they were just creepy smiling. And it was in the Mets versus the Athletics and the Cardinals versus the Dodgers and a couple other games. Did you see this? This is how you do brain extension. This is like, this is smart. And I don't, you know, the actor's holding character that long is very interesting. But.
26:24
I have no look. I haven't watched the previews for the movie. I watched the trailer because of this ad. Is it? But there is like there's an insight here and I have no idea if this is what the movie is about. I know nothing about the movie other than I saw. Those be interesting. But you know, we always say fake smile. Like you feel like everybody's kind of like, you know, and it's like, there's something telling about like society as a whole that you feel like there's a lot of fake smile. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. I have no idea if this is what the movie is about, but you know,
26:53
It's creepy like I watched the trailer I will like dabble with horror movies But I'm very specific about the ones I'll watch because they will mess with me I don't know if I could do that night brand on the street only for you. No, I have watched it That's like the first and second it and a couple of the Annabelle movies. I used to have some Jason on here No, I like all the any kind of like aggressive gore and violence I can't that's why I can't be game of fairness like I can do creepy spooky ghosts, but I can't do violence
27:24
That's how I sound watching these movies. That sounds like me, actually. That's me. Oh, man. No, it's a great, great stunt. I have to be in the mood for horror. Sure. You know, and but let me say this marketing and like connection and brand and like carrying out. This is a brilliant idea.
27:46
Great extension, it's baseball season, or at least the time where most people start paying attention, a lot of energy around it. And then doing a mass play where you get this kind of virility, really cool idea. And smart. Right behind home plate. The, I will say this, I have to be in the mood for horror, because I started watching on Netflix, the Dahmer thing with What's His Name? Yes. And Nicole and I started watching this the other night. And literally.

It was like, you know stuff's coming, but you don't really want, we watched like 15 minutes of it, and we both looked at each other, I'm like, we're gonna watch this and we're really gonna like it, but I'm not in the mood for this. I needed some freaking Ted Lassa. We immediately went to Ted Lassa. I was like, this is more than I wanna digest right now. I need some lightheartedness. Domber, and this is not horror, but Domber and the new.
28:43
Marilyn Monroe movie blonde are two that I was like, do I want to watch this? And then I like went down a deep dive of reviews and I was like, neither. I, I won't watch either of them. I can't watch it. I'll totally get into it. If I'm in the mood for it, like I'm there. I just was like ready to kind of, that's not horror. That's like chill out like the end of the day. And like, yeah. He's going to win all the awards for it though. He, he was free. Like we watched like, I'm like,
29:10
He was very believable, let's just say. But I thought he was great in freaking American Horror Story. He played a lot of different characters. He was always like the guy on the best on scene. So, interesting. Onto another positive article. M&Ms is introducing a new color for the first time since the 90s, but they have a purple.
29:35
Purple M&M to mark the debut. The brand will release a song and video called I'm Just Gonna Be Me that features saxophonist Grace Kelly, choreographer, dancers Devin Santiago and Kolo Kog, opera singer Anthony Roth Constanzo, and the rest of the cast of the M&M's Spokes Candies. Do M&M's based on the color taste different? I don't, you know, like Skittles. I don't think so. Skittles absolutely do. I don't think M&M's do. I think it's just dye.
30:01
But the purple M&M is inclusivity. Am I gonna know that it's purple, you know? We should do it. Yeah. We should try it. I love purple, I'm excited about this. This tastes new to me. It's a peanut M&M, I think. Oh, come on now. I'm not messing up M&Ms with peanuts. M&Ms are my favorite, like any of them, any and all of them. Peanut butter M&Ms, I'm there for them all day. Elite. Those are the elite candy. Those are the ricky pc's are like my hidden, like.
30:28
Do you like caramel M&Ms? Those are my second favorite. I don't dislike them, but I'll pass right over. Like I'm a Passover dessert, like sweet kind of guy, except for about five things. And peanut butter M&Ms and Reese's Pieces. Reese's Pieces. Handfuls, yep. Oh, just like- All day, every day, whole bag. Bury me in them. Like- In the same way. Absolutely. Like if I like-
30:52
could do eat as much of that as I want and like never gain any weight or look or feel bad snaps. Yeah, it's not feeling bad. Truly. I have gorged myself on M&Ms before. Yes. But anyway, so okay. Purple for inclusivity is fine. Whatever. I don't like when candy or stuff has to get into like, it's not that I don't, I don't know. So it's the social things with
31:18
Candy is sure. Can we just have candy? Sure. There's it's just no matter where you follow any of it. And I don't think anyone with any like integrity doesn't want people to not feel included. Sure. So it's not that I am saying what with me saying this is saying, well, I don't agree with this. It's more just, you know, just it's interesting. Let me just have some candy. But Eminem has always had like it has such a historical.
31:46
background, because M&Ms were invented because families would send chocolate and candy to their family members who were in the military, and it would always melt. And so M&Ms, because they have the candy coating, don't melt, so it's kind of always been a little bit. Yeah, it's just they don't have to be a gender. They can just be eight characters. So then why did we make the green one a sex symbol? Why is the green M&M the sexy one? I'm sure that it's not anymore. No, it still is. She still has her little heeled boobs. Oh, good, good. Feminism.
32:17
But the next thing is Megan Thee Stallion, do you like her music? Yeah. Yeah, I do too. She created a website with mental health resources for fans. She launched a website called Bad Bitches Have Bad Days Too, which appeared to be taken from a verse from her song, Anxiety, to provide her fans with mental health resources. Hey, that's cool. I mean, you know, like her and Cardi B and like all like.
32:38
I like the music. I enjoy it. You know, I can enjoy it and not even know where their position is, what they do. But it's also good that they're using the fame to, you know, promote things like this. Same with Lizzo, Liz is another one who does it. And I think we start to, you know, go overboard with taking taking every lyric and every I mean, like some of us just art form, you know, like at least for me, it's art form because it gets me.
33:01
jived up at the gym or I'm having fun at a party or whatever, you know? Yeah. And I'm not like overthinking every lyric. Sure. But I just think it's cool that, you know, she used her fame to like promote something that obviously needs more awareness. It's a cool website. I popped on there yesterday. Yeah. But it's the power of influence. Not personal use. Yeah, totally. But it's keeping that like mental health vein. Clorox wipes has a whole new brand platform. It's the first time since 2017.
33:28
It's called Start Clean and it utilizes a minimal aesthetic and straightforward message because recent consumer research by the brand found that 82% of Americans believe cleanliness is required for a clear head and 68% of Americans believe it's needed for a fresh outlook. I mean, I like things smelling nice. Yeah. I mean, you know, like there is something about coming home to a clean house, you know, like that's fresh. Yeah.
33:54
you know, like. It helps you with like productivity and. Cause it's like one less thing I have to do. Or my wife has to do, like between the two of us. Right, right. You know, like, okay. Well, it's like you can focus on the stuff you actually want to do and not like, oh God, I gotta clean the bathroom. Yeah, I mean, and who doesn't like, you know, some bleach smell, you know. Yeah, lemon, lemon citrus. Yeah, you know. Yeah.
34:18
I don't know. I'd like to dig into that research a little bit. Sure. If they're, they're either making some connections here that, uh, it might be a little bit of a leap for, uh, whether or not Clorox wipes. Sure. Sure. Sure. Sure. But. I've had to like clean and clean the, uh, depression crust off of my apartment before I've been like, Oh, I've been like sad for two days. I probably should like do something about my dishes. You should at least feed the cat. He always gets fed. The cat's always fine.
34:44
Food and water, he's always taken care of. Yeah. I'm the one that doesn't eat, but it's fine. We're on Prozac now. Yeah. Hahaha. Yeah. That's all I got for today. I'm going to get some wipes here in the Radcast room. There you go. And we got some little dust bunnies. Yeah. This screens. Yeah, I can see some fingerprints. Well, I think it's more like where Nash dropped it seven times. Hahaha. Kicked it down the street a few times. I thought it was a soccer ball. Hahaha. Oh, yes.
35:15
So Clemson and NC State play on Saturday night, game day's in town, and I will be glued to the TV. Hopefully with no hurricane. Yeah, lots of wind. Hopefully we all have power. Yeah, oh, don't say that. I have a generator. Oh, there you go. We have backup. You'll be just fine. Oh yeah.
35:31
runs just the refrigerator and the TV. Priorities, priorities. And maybe the microwave. Sure, obviously. We need to have some of those things. Pizza rolls. Or like, you know. Oh yeah, game day food. What are they called? What's it called, those things that you put in a toaster, but they're- Pop tarts? No, kind of in the vein of pizza rolls. Like the tuck. Hot pocket. Oh yeah, yeah, yeah. Hot pockets. There we go. I love hot pockets.
36:01
That Philly steak and cheese Unless the center is cold. That's what always happens to me like everything's cooked, but the center is still like cold What if you could air fry a hot pocket I think you could Try that Any final words here?
